The client requests urgent delivery
New requirements are added after project approval
Any additional cost will be communicated before the extra work is started.
4. Project Confirmation
A project is considered confirmed only after:
The client accepts the quotation or proposal
Required advance payment is received
Required project details, content, and materials are provided
Both parties agree on the main scope and timeline
HTG Biz may refuse or cancel a project if the requested work is illegal, harmful, misleading, abusive, or against our business policies.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client must provide accurate and complete information required for the project, including:
Business details
Text content
Images and media
Logo and branding materials
Product or service details
Login access when required
Domain, hosting, or third-party account access when required
Feedback and approvals within a reasonable time
Delays in providing required materials may delay project completion.
6. Project Timeline
Project timelines are estimated based on the agreed scope. Delivery time may change due to:
Late content submission
Delayed feedback or approvals
Change requests
Technical issues
Third-party service delays
Payment delays
Unexpected complexity
HTG Biz will make reasonable efforts to complete projects on time, but estimated timelines are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.
7. Payments
Payment terms will be mentioned in the quotation, invoice, or agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed:
An advance payment is required before work begins
Remaining payments must be made according to project milestones
Final delivery may be paused until full payment is received
Hosting, domain, plugins, APIs, paid tools, and third-party services may require separate payment
The client is responsible for paying all agreed fees on time.
8. Refund Policy
Advance payments are generally non-refundable once work has started.
Refunds may not be provided for:
Completed work
Work already started
Client delays
Change of mind
Third-party costs
Domain, hosting, plugin, API, or license purchases
Projects cancelled by the client after approval
If a refund is approved, the amount will be decided based on the work completed, costs already incurred, and project status.
9. Revisions and Changes
The number of revisions included will depend on the selected package or quotation.
Revisions must be related to the original agreed scope. Additional charges may apply for:
New features
Major design changes
New pages or modules
Rework after approval
Changes outside the original scope
Additional integrations
10. Content and Copyright
The client is responsible for ensuring that all content, images, videos, logos, and materials provided to HTG Biz are legally owned or properly licensed.
HTG Biz is not responsible for copyright issues caused by materials provided by the client.
Unless otherwise agreed, HTG Biz may use general project screenshots, website links, or project names in its portfolio, marketing, or case studies.
11. Ownership of Work
After full payment is received, the client will own the final approved project files or delivered system, except for:
Third-party software
Open-source libraries
Licensed plugins or themes
Stock images or fonts
Developer tools
Reusable internal code, frameworks, or components owned by HTG Biz
HTG Biz may reuse general knowledge, methods, structures, and non-confidential components in future projects.
12. Third-Party Services
Some projects may require third-party services such as:
Domain providers
Hosting providers
Payment gateways
SMS gateways
Email providers
Analytics tools
APIs
Plugins or themes
HTG Biz is not responsible for downtime, pricing changes, policy changes, account restrictions, or issues caused by third-party providers.
13. Website Hosting and Maintenance
Hosting, maintenance, updates, backups, security monitoring, and bug fixing are included only if specifically mentioned in the package, invoice, or agreement.
If maintenance is not included, the client is responsible for managing updates, backups, hosting renewals, and security after project delivery.
14. Warranty and Support
HTG Biz will provide reasonable support for bugs or issues related to the delivered work during the agreed support period.
Support does not include:
New features
Client-made changes
Third-party service issues
Hosting problems outside our control
Problems caused by plugins, themes, APIs, or external systems
Issues caused by unauthorized changes
15. Limitation of Liability
HTG Biz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, business interruption, data loss, or reputational damage.
Our total liability for any claim related to a project or service will not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific service.
16. No Guaranteed Results
For SEO, marketing, website traffic, app growth, or business performance, HTG Biz may provide best-practice recommendations and technical support.
However, we do not guarantee:
First-page Google rankings
Specific traffic numbers
Specific sales results
App downloads
Business revenue
Approval by third-party platforms
Results depend on many factors outside our control.
17. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential business, technical, financial, and project-related information private unless disclosure is required for service delivery or by law.
18. Termination
HTG Biz may suspend or terminate services if:
Payments are overdue
The client violates these Terms
The client requests illegal or harmful work
Required information is not provided for a long period
Communication becomes abusive or unreasonable
The project becomes impossible to complete due to client-side issues
The client may also terminate the project, but payments for work already completed or costs already incurred will remain payable.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
Any dispute should first be resolved through friendly discussion. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be handled according to applicable Sri Lankan law.
20. Changes to These Terms
HTG Biz may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
